BlueScope Lysaght came to Indonesia in 1973 a PT BRC Lysaght Indonesia. In 1989, it changed to PT BHP steel Building Products. And in 2004, with the goals to strengthen our new business and our differentiation, we changed to PT BlueScope Lysaght Indonesia.

Branch Manager - Makassar
Makassar (Sulawesi Selatan)

Responsibilities:

•     Ensure the proper operation of the plant according to the approved operational procedures, by coordinating the management team (department heads), following the agreed production schedule and securing the delivery of the goods on time, in order to provide high quality products and services.
•     Ensure that the production line operates efficiently & effectively without any breakdowns that can create bottlenecks in manufacture, thus meeting the manufacture schedule.
•     Ensure that adequate maintenance is performed in the machinery during the recess period, so as to secure credible manufacture during the rest of the year.
•     Secure that quality assurance processes are followed, providing the requested quality results.
•     Propose and after approval implement the annual budget plan, in terms of production, profitability & other KPIs, so as to contribute the agreed profits to the group.
•     Review on a monthly basis financial results, explain the reasons for any deviations & take corrective actions, in order to be aligned with the agreed budget.
•     Create an environment that promotes the values the company represent & allow human resources to perform & develop their skills and competencies.
•     Ensure proper operation of the warehouse in terms of timely supply of raw materials, as well as efficient housekeeping of the facility, having as an objective the step-by-step implementation of the production schedule.
•     Develop a team spirit culture, affecting the day-to-day business, in order to keep up a high pace and ensure high productivity.
•     Ensure the quality of the products and services provided by the plant.
•     Ensure proper completion of the agreed projects (capital investments, process improvements, etc)

Sales Achievement

•     project leads and customer database
•     create a plan to Makassar
•     sales according to budget

Monitor Channel

•     assessment and the establishment of new channels
•     assessment for the channel distribution agreement that will end

Requirements:

1. Min University Degree in (S1) Engineering/Technical / Business
2. Master Degree (S2) Prefferably
3. Min.5 years in manufacturing company in related department
4. Min. 2 years managerial position
5. Good communication skill.
6. Good command in English, both written & spoken.
7. Good interpersonal relating skills.
8. Technical know-how with emphasis in Manufacture & Sales
9. Computer literate.
10. Good Leadership & Supervisory skill.
